How long does my order take?
Banners, stickers and signage, and photography backdrops are delivered approx 2-3 business days after approval for design proof has been received and payment has been made. Large jobs require more production time, which may increase delivery time. Stationery products are delivered between 5 – 7 business days after approval for design proof has been received and payment has been made. Please note, we can’t guarantee and have no control over the courier companies, but endeavour to get it out to you in this time frame.
Where do you ship to and how much is shipping?
Maxi Signs deliver Australia-wide. Shipping is calculated at checkout and varies based on your location and order size.
How do I supply artwork?
For small format print, please supply your artwork at 300 dpi with a bleed of 5mm. For large format print, please supply your artwork at a minimum of 150dpi with 10mm bleed. Rest assure that we will send back an artwork proof or flag your artwork if there are any issues, before we put into production.
How do I know what my print will look like?
We will email you a proof of your artwork within 24 hours, once your order has been placed. We customise every proof and once you are happy with your proof, we will put it into production.
Photography Backdrops FAQ
What makes our photography backdrops different from the others?
All our backdrops are printed in-house in our Sydney studio, which means we can print on demand. We can customise orders and designs and we offer 2 different sizes on most designs.
What are your backdrops made of?
Our backdrops are made from a premium, soft-touch premium vinyl. These stay-flat photography backdrops, can be rolled up and unrolled without waiting hours for them to flatten.
How to store my photography backdrop?
Your backdrops will be delivered in a tube. Once you open your tube, your backdrops will easily unroll and flatten out quickly. When you aren’t using your backdrop, its best to store them back into the tube or a safe, and clean dry place.
Can the backdrops tear, or get wet?
Our backdrops are waterproof and tearproof, meaning you can get creative with your shoots and not worry about how delicate the backdrop is. Remember though, you want these to last, so treat them well!
How to care for my photography backdrops?
All our backdrops are made from a waterproof vinyl material. You can get a little messy for your shoot with food, beauty products or water, then just wipe down your backdrop with a damp clean cloth, then dry off with a soft dry towel, before packing away. When not in use, roll them up, and pop back into the tube, or place in a clean, dry place. Please Note: Don't let any spills sit on your backdrop too long, as it can cause staining if left for a long period. Try to clean up all spills right after your photo is taken. The backdrops are heat sensitive (so please do not put a hot pan or plate directly on the surface of the backdrop).
Do you do custom designs?
Yes we do! If you have specific artwork, texture or brand colours in mind, we can print your custom request. Just drop us an email. Please bare in mind, any file that we create or are provided with can vary from screen to print. Once this has been approved digitally, we can’t accept any refunds for variation in colours once printed.
How will my backdrop look in real life?
The backdrop product you see on screen can vary during the printing process, and look different once printed. All the photos you see on our website and social media are taken using the backdrops in real life to give you a sense of how these could turn out. This all depends on how you take the photo, and what lighting you have available.
Our colour backdrops can experience a little bit of “banding”. Banding means there may be slight colour variations across the background. This is a common occurrence in the printing process. If there is slight banding, it shouldn't be visible through your camera. Our backdrops are also hand cut, so a slight difference in the finished size can occur. We quality check every backdrop that goes out the door to ensure a great quality finish.
What If I change my mind, or there is an issue with the product?
As our products are custom printed, we can not accept refunds for change of mind. If you have an issue with your product, we may be able to offer you an exchange, however the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
